Calgarth Villa - Windermere

The location was mind-blowing, with a jaw-dropping view of the lake in the distance. It was super peaceful and we loved taking a nice stroll down to the private jetty. The easy walk to Windermere center and Bowness was a huge plus. And let's not forget the glorious weather, with wall to wall sunshine making our stay simply fantastic. Bonus points for the free wi-fi and parking! No pets allowed and no smoking on site.

Plus, the wi-fi, free parking, no pets allowed, and no smoking on site made our stay even more enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay at Calgarth Villa in Windermere. the location was superb, offering a lovely view of the lake in the distance. It was incredibly peaceful, allowing us to relax and unwind. One of our favorite features was the private jetty, where we enjoyed leisurely strolls. the villa's proximity to both Windermere centre and Bowness made it easy for us to explore the area on foot.

As vegetarians and vegans, we were delighted to find plenty of suitable options available in terms of facilities and amenities. the private jetty was a lovely touch and provided a nice spot for a leisurely stroll. It was also a bonus that the hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of both Windermere center and Bowness. And to top it all off, the glorious weather blessed us with wall to wall sunshine throughout our stay!

We loved taking leisurely strolls down to the private jetty, where we could soak in the tranquility of the surroundings. It was also convenient to walk to both Windermere centre and Bowness, making exploring the area easy. And to top it all off, the weather was glorious , with wall to wall sunshine. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Despite a few minor issues, such as some dust in the lounge and a loose carpet strip between the lounge and kitchen, our overall stay was still fantastic. The bathroom mirror could have used some additional brackets to prevent it from moving sideways when wiped, but it was a small inconvenience.

There were a few things about our stay that could have been improved. the cottage was quite dusty in certain areas, especially in the lounge.
